The Honorable Keswick K. Matus is a public servant from Northern Namoneas, Chuuk, in the Federated States of Micronesia. Born on June 15, 1969, he currently serves as the District #1 Representative in the Chuuk State Legislature House of Representatives.
Representative Matus completed his early education at St. Cecillia Elementary School in 1985, attended Moen Junior High School in 1986, and graduated from Chuuk High School in 1989. He later pursued higher education at the University of Guam from 1989 to 1993.
Throughout his career, Representative Matus has served in a variety of leadership and public service roles. He worked as a Police Officer for Chuuk State, served as Senior Pastor of PCC Church in Peniesene, and represented the Northern Namoneas region as a councilman. He also previously served as a Representative in 2005 and held the position of Assistant Chief of Staff within the Executive Branch.
Known for his commitment to community service, faith leadership, and public administration, Representative Matus continues to contribute to the development and well-being of the people of Chuuk and the Federated States of Micronesia.
