The Honorable BJ B. Petrus is a Representative in the Chuuk State Legislature, serving in the House of Representatives. He is from the Mortlocks region of Chuuk and is a citizen of the Federated States of Micronesia.
Representative Petrus attended St. Cecilia Elementary School and Saramen Chuuk Academy before continuing his studies at the College of Micronesia–FSM in Palikir, Pohnpei. He further pursued higher education at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and Hawaii Pacific University.
Prior to his legislative service, he built a strong professional background with United Airlines, where he served as a Team Leader and later advanced to General Manager of the Chuuk State Station. His leadership experience in both the private sector and public service supports his work in the legislature.
