The Judiciary and Governmental Relations Committee oversees legislation relating to the justice system, constitutional affairs, law enforcement, and the relationship between Chuuk State and the national government of the Federated States of Micronesia. The committee also examines matters involving intergovernmental agreements, executive appointments requiring Senate confirmation, and legislation affecting the structure and functioning of state government institutions.
