Hon. Ignacio Santos

Representative

Honorable Ignacio Santos was born on February 1, 1968. He attended Emmaus High School in Koror, Palau, and furthered his education at Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz, California.

Before entering public office, Honorable Santos dedicated 17 years of service to the Chuuk State Department of Public Safety, where he attained the rank of Police Captain. His extensive experience in law enforcement provided him with valuable leadership skills and a strong commitment to public safety and community well-being.

Since 2018, Honorable Santos has served as a Representative in the Chuuk State Legislature, representing the people of Representative District No. 4. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Judiciary and Governmental Operations Committee in the House of Representatives, where he contributes to legislative efforts aimed at strengthening governance, justice, and public accountability in Chuuk State.
