Health, Education & Welfare Committee

Reviews legislation on public health, education, and social welfare for the people of Chuuk State.

The Health, Education and Welfare Committee is a standing committee of the Chuuk State Senate responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on legislation relating to public health, education, and social welfare. The committee examines proposed laws and appropriations that affect the wellbeing of Chuukese families and communities across the state, including the outer islands, and works to ensure that Senate decisions in these areas are informed, evidence-based, and responsive to the needs of the people of Chuuk.
