Hon. Cheche Andrel Yamamoto

Hon. Andrel Chechemeni Yamamoto is a distinguished public servant from Losap Island, representing the Mortlock Region in the Chuuk State Legislature, The Senate. He pursued higher education in Business Administration, Finance, and Economics at Grays Harbor College and later continued his studies at Central Washington University.

In addition to his academic achievements, Floor Leader Yamamoto completed pastoral training through Beyond the Reef Theological Studies, where he was ordained as a minister. He served as a Senior Pastor at Island Community Church- actively involved in community service, including youth counseling, family counseling, and youth sports development.

His commitment to public service extends as he currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Pacific Island Legislatures (APIL), contributing to regional collaboration and leadership among Pacific Island legislatures.

Through his legislative, educational, and community service endeavors, Hon. Floor Leader Yamamoto continues to demonstrate dedicated leadership and a strong commitment to the people of the Mortlock Region and Chuuk State.
